If your 2023 Santa Fe driver's seat is awful, it seems to me that you have experienced some bad luck. Did you not try it before buying? Maybe not. I'm 5'11" in height and weigh 176 pounds. I find the seat in our 2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy to be very comfortable. On long drives I do vary the position of the lumbar support which I find very convenient. I'm sorry it's not working out for you. At 85, I've owned lots of cars, the first being a '47 Ford. This particular Hyundai (of the four I've owned) is my favorite of all. I truly appreciate the safety features and just love the response I get from the turbo on the infrequent occasions I need it. Hopefully you can find some sort of cushion that will make your driving experience more pleasant.

Like many said, this is subjective. I came from a 2020 Volvo XC60. If you know anything about those late model Volvos, those seats were designed by orthopedic surgeons. They were some of the best seats I have ever sat in.

My SF HEV Limited feels much harder and I definitely fatigue over longer trips. However, it's my "pleb" car, so I'm fine with it.

My back suffered every time I drove my '18, tried every cushion I could find and finally traded it in last year. Loved the car otherwise but that 1 problem ruined things for me. Learned my lesson,
2025 Santa Fe- Driver's seat- Down the center feels Iike I'm sat on the lid of a tin of paint
now when I test drive I insist on L=O=N=G drives (over an hour) before purchase.

The drivers seat in my new Santa Fe is absolutely terrible. There is a hump that goes right down the center that causes major pain. I cannot find a comfortable position. After a two hour drive I’m in pain.

Am I the only one with this issue? Anyone else hurt like I do? Anyone figure out some sort of solution? Help!!
2025 model. My garage stripped the seat down and found 2 springs that hold the seat together had been installed upside down. They reversed this and the problem has gone away

Do you have some pictures? Might helps others with the same problem.

PS: I don't have any complaints about my seats. Done ~900 miles/13 hours in single day, and no complaints at the end of the day, other than boredom.

I have the 2023 Santa Fe-SEL, AWD w/Premium package. Both myself (driver) and my wife (passenger) find the seats in this year and model to be so uncomfortable that after an hour or so of driving one of us on most occasions have to find a spot to pull over and take a stretch before we continue to our destination. Sucks!

I agree, anything more than a very short tide is uncomfortable, so l use a seat pad I got at Walmart. But be careful about using one in the passenger seat. The pads can absorb a lot of weight and the airbag system shuts down on that side if it doesn't sense enough weight.

exactly, test drive, test drive and then again, seems to me with all the answers some suffering some not, different models and even different years... buyer beware... and test drive, take a nap in the dealers parking lot but get a solid hour on the test drive
