I have the leather type seats in our Hybrid Limited and they are just fine. The driver's side has so many adjustments you can make plus that section that goes outward at your knees. The heating/cooling works amazingly well. I was really very impressed with that feature. Maybe it does not work as well on cloth type??

I have the 21 SEL Hybrid. I found the seats to he pretty hard as well with some backache for a few weeks. I tried a few lumbar pillows but that didn't do much. I ended up with a comfortable seat cushion just for the bottom. And I use a neck cushion upside down for my low back. After some time my back was better and I got used to it. Both together work good.

I do wish it was more plush. Maybe in a few more years it will wear it in.

Agreed. I actually tried three different cushions and a pillow, but nothing seemed to help. My neighbor suggested a piece of stiff cardboard because he had the same issue in a Kia.
Son of a gun….it actually worked!! Not perfect but soooo much better. The cardboard molds to my butt and redistributes the “load”. I’m amazed. It looks nasty so I’ll cover it with a black cloth. Who would have thought? And for free!!!

You might try going to a car upholstery shop to see if they can re-stuff that seat. It sure would look better than sitting on cardboard.

I'm surprised to read about the seat problem My wife has a 2013 Hyundai Santa fe sport and and our daughter has a 2017 Santa fe sport and her seats are also excellent for all of us .the ft seats are great.

I am still driving My wife's old 2003 envoy xl with leather bucket seats, we both have had back problems with trips of 100 miles or more but the seats in the Santa fe sport are so much better. She took 600 mile round trip and no back problem , I went with her on a 200 mile round trip and again no back problem.

our daughter has not driven any long trips, I have ridden in her car locally for as much as 1 hour in the passenger seat and no problem., most likely some bean counter found a way to save a couple of bucks by changing something in the seat construct and now it's coming back to bite them in the ass. A good upholstery shop might be able to improve the iseat with a a rebuild. What does the Hyundai dealer say about the problem??

Two weeks ago my wife and I did a 600 mile round trip in our new 2023 SF Hybrid Limited. And a month before that we bought the car in NJ and drove it the 800 miles home to SC.

We have no complaints about the leather trimmed seats in the Limited.

We just got a 2023 Santa Fe XRT. Went on a 4 hour road trip and found out how uncomfortable the front seats are. Never ridden in the back seats so cant give a opinion on those. Lack of cushioning and smaller bucket size seats lack a lot in for comfort area. We are not big people by any means. Very narrow seats and the butt cushion cuts you off mid thigh. Fine for local trips but aweful for road trips. I miss the days of deep cushioned wide seats. The sport style seats are fine in a sports car but not in a everyday passenger vehicle.

Not apples to apples but yesterday test drove an SUV (hyundai's cousin) with "leatherette", heat, and power seats ahhhhh, much better. Gel-cushion on top w/thinner foam cushion on bottom may be my answer. ocsdfw ^ yes, seat cuts circulation off at mid-thigh, cushions are your friend, no time like now to start your '24 collection 😊

I have the same seats as you are referring to and I did not get the "ahhhhh " feeling. Try a 4-5 road trip and your back and butt will talk to you but ahhhhh is not in its vocabulary. I wish the 2024 was out already a few months ago when we bought this and it was not. Insurance totaled our old car and we had to get something and could not wait for the 2024 and to sell this just to get a 2024 would put us unside down on what is owed and that would make financial sense at all .

It feels good in my hybrid limited. No complaints at far. Sometimes I misses the massaging feature from the last vehicle.

What amazes me the most is the range of motion these seats have. Check the extreme positions for the driver seat.

PS: I loved the Palisade calligraphy seats. When you shift to sports mode, the seats hugs you tighter from the sides. Might be just a gimmick, but felt nice.

I think the seats in the front of our 23 sel-p hybrid re pretty comfortable, but recently took all the “sisters” on a 120 miles trip and the person sitting in the middle of the back said it was not comfortable at all. Too bad. Got the Santa Fe because we really liked our 2008 limited, and so felt if we were going to take 5 people around, the Santa Fe would be more comfortable than the Tucson.

This Santa Fe SE 2023 is the latest car for me. I have owned 3 other Hyundai's in the past. Had the Excel,Elantra, Santa Fe AWD and now the Santa Fe SE. Had super experiences with all the cars. Warranty can't be beat. Reliable car, Handles great in the snow and ice.Drove 1,500 mile trip 7 1/2 hr. and no back problems very comfy. Best car out there for the money and looks. Can't change my mind. Lucy

The drivers seat in my new Santa Fe is absolutely terrible. There is a hump that goes right down the center that causes major pain. I cannot find a comfortable position. After a two hour drive I’m in pain.

Am I the only one with this issue? Anyone else hurt like I do? Anyone figure out some sort of solution? Help!!
THe seats are terrible. In my whole life of driving I have never found a seat so uncomfortable. My husband cant even drive in it. within 30 min he's in pain. I don't have a solution. We would love one. Did you find a solution?

Maybe it depends upon trim level?

The seats in our Hybrid Limited are as comfortable as any other car we’ve owned.

I have a 23 limited. and they are like sitting on plywood. No cushion, no give. I'm 200 lbs and seat doesn't even move when i sit in it. The back seats are a totally different world. they feel great.
Then you must have different seats than my 2023 Hybrid Limited. I’m also 6’0”, 200lbs and the sears are just fine.
