I looked (05-01-2023) on the NHTSA.gov website for any recalls on my 2016 Santa Fe Sport and got Zero, all caught up! That day I got a "Maintenance Reminder" from (USPS) Hyundai USA in Chicago, one of the items was a "Safety Recall Service Campaign that is outstanding. going to the Hyundai site, yup, there it is. This is not an official recall notice as I have received before on other things. QUESTION: Has anyone received an 'official recall' about the anti-theft software upgrade on keyed cars? I have heard, cars, KIA and Hyundai alike are being stolen because of some Tic-Tok videos posted. I personally HATE going to my local Hyundai Dealer...not the up front dealership I would say so, from my experience. Wanting to wait till the recall is official, don't like the bait they are dangling. Any takers?
