Why ride a bike?

It sounds to me like you identified all the reasons people ride motorbikes. I used to have one myself but have graduated to a car because it is more practical and feels safer. I still miss the freedom of a bike though.

I used to wonder where all those motorcycles could possibly be going . . until I got one and started riding 5 years ago . . then I realized, they are mostly going nowhere in particular . . mostly just riding for the fun of it. In North America I don't think many use motorcycles as a primary means of transportation (different in other warmer climates) . . almost everyone I know that rides does so as a recreational activity, me oncluded !

Lol im getting to the age that I better have a GPS going on the bike, because my journey would never end..

Does anyone ever remember before GPS? And i f you didnt have a map detailed enough?
the old MacDonald s map wont give much info either...

LMBO! What are all of these references to outdated materials that predated technology? Maps, 8tracks, whats next?

Riding without getting lost..

I always told my wife I was going for a ride. she always asked where you going I always told her I wouldn't know until I got back. Many 3 mile trips to the Bank ended being 65 miles to no-where... Loved riding but turing 71 and loving speed no matter where I went I have decided to retire until I get a scooter..lol Was a Busa Owner.. you know the one...

I say go buy a motorcycle .. they can stay out of the texting drivers the best. Not more than every other day I read of someone or their passenger getting killed by a texting fool or otherwise distracted. I am going to get another bike because I cannot stand the loneliness any longer . I hear a motorcycle go by and the hair stands up on my arms.. The Harley Shop Owner is 83 and still rides a full dresser.. so why can't I ?? Have been riding 4o years and only 2 accidents neither were my fault.. see what happens..

WHY??? View the following with an honest and open mind. I have been riding for over 45 years and this vid barely touches some of the key reasons. But.... it does touch on a good one. After I have had an exciting day riding, I love to post to social networks some details of my adventuresome day and close with the question...... "What did YOU do today?"
