What do you think about the FITCAMX dash cam? Anybody have this?

Installation was a breeze, took less than 5 minutes. I'll attach a pic of the wiring I used to connect the Fitcamx. I used the ACC connection and it works great.

The only annoying thing is that if I don't "forget" the Fitcamx wifi when I'm done interacting with the app, Android Auto fails to connect. As long as I remember to turn off Bluetooth before I go to the car to interact with the app, then connect to the dashcam Wi-Fi, then when I'm done, "forget" the dashcam Wi-Fi network, then turn Bluetooth back on, then Android Auto works fine.

EDIT: I only got the front camera.
This is what I came to see. I couldn't find anything online for 2025 models for that cover part number to confirm it's the same as the 2024. Do you have a hybrid calligraphy? I presume the part number would be the same? We just picked up a 25 Calligraphy Hybrid and I'm wanting to put one of these in it as I have one in my other vehicle and really like the clean/OEM look.

I've considered this camera, also considered using the FitDVR mirror tap adapter from the same company, with a Viofo dash cam. One concern I have, though, is possibly voiding the factory warranty.
My understanding is warranty law requires them to demonstrate that what you did in some way caused the problem. They can't just say you plugged in a dash cam to your rain sensor so we won't honor your powertrain warranty. If it messed up the rain sensor while plugged in to that, you might have an issue but if you're smart you kept the OEM panel and swap out the FitCamX before taking it in for work anyway.

But that's also one of the good things about the FitCamX is no one is going to notice it unless they're looking for it so unless the problem is with one of the sensors in that panel, odds are no one is going to ever even recognize it.

The part should be the same for the hybrid. I'm attaching a pic of my OEM shroud so you can see the part number. It should be 96030-P6000. If you order from the Fitcamx website, they'll ask you to pop the OEM shroud off your car and take a pic of the part number and the wiring. I hear that if you order from Amazon, they send you both types of wiring (rain sensor and ACC).

excellent, thanks! The Hyundai OEM parts website didn't have 2025 Santa Fe parts yet to look it up.

Just got mine installed on a 2025 Hybrid Calligraphy. Way easier than my Ram 1500's FitCamX but really the only challenge is in how hard getting the OEM panel off. It's just a quick plug in after that. Took less than 5 minutes. Very slick OEM look. Just be sure to get a high endurance microSD card. My other FitCamX doing 4K recordings killed my 128GB Samsung Select microSD in about 8 months. Using a 128GB SanDisk Endurance now in both vehicles.

I am curious. You can buy a reverse cam. And you have to run a wire through the car but if you flip the big center lever on the rear view mirror is displays the cars backup camera in the mirror. Why didn't or doesn't Fitcamx put an adapter into the camera line to the rear view mirror? Seems a lot simpler than running a wire to the front.
