If I hit the radio button, it starts playing the radio and I can then go back to Android Auto. Does it not work for you that way? I would also make sure you have autoplay disabled if Apple CarPlay has such an option.

How do I keep the CP Nav, but listen to SX?
Thank, I’ll give that a try. I’m also going to try to get the speed limit sign to display in the DID. It shows up in the NAV screen, but still trying to get it to display on the driver screen ( as it did in my ‘22 Tucson. If I hit the radio button, it starts playing the radio and I can then go back to Android Auto. I figured this out after a few months. I have an iPhone and plug it in a lot.Still having problems while listening to CarPlay Nav, but it try’s to okay my phone music. How do I keep the CP Nav, but listen to SX?

If I am using Google Maps from the phone I get that setup first. Then I have to press the MODE button on the upper left of the steering wheel. That will change back to the car radio and keeps Google Maps on the screen. Then you can use the phone apps for phone, messages, etc.
It will first go to FM mode. Keep pressing the MODE button and work your way to XM Satellite. It’s tricky getting used to it but it works.
Hyundai still needs to fix this so Car Play really works on Bluetooth, not by wire.
Read above. Two posts show how it is done, so be sure to try next time you travel.I assume you mean SXM on the car, right? Because if you have it on your phone only, I don't think you can do both, correct? I have SXM on the G70, so have to listen to it from my phone on the SF. I haven't used CP while traveling yet, but I set it up just in case, since the car's nav is absolute crap on large cities. So will use CP with Google maps next time. And I assume in that case (using google maps in CP), I cannot additionally listen to either Spotify, or SXM, from my phone, correct? Thx.
Well if you are talking about an app on the phone, that's an entirely different issue from what this asked about I thought. Sirius-XM would have to make their application compatible with ACP or AA.I did, but that's to listen to XM FROM THE CAR. I don't have XM on the SF (only on the G70), so would have to play it from my phone (as an APP). I don't think it can be done with Google at the same time, but if I ever have to use Google with CP, would ask my wife to play with it and see if it's possible. Without XM on the car, I typically listen to Spotify, so it'd be great if I can listen to either Spotify or SXM APP while having Google active. But without using the car's radio at all, the car setting would stay in MEDIA (bluetooth) only. So it'd be up to CP to allow maps (Google), and another source (Spotify or SMX APP). The other challenge will be to listen to map directions on the car; couldn't figure out how to do it last time. Wish we could make the map directions appear on the HUD, like with the factory nav; then I wouldn't really need voice directions. We'll figure out what can and cannot be done next time we need Google.
I’m a cheap bas… well, you get the idea. I just have the SXM on the car. Im going to try a suggestion from another SF owner ( stargate? ) by using CarPlay NAV then hit the mode button on the steering wheel to rotate the music back to SXM. Haven’t had the opportunity yet, but I will this weekend.I assume you mean SXM on the car, right? Because if you have it on your phone only, I don't think you can do both, correct? Yeah, me too; that's why I only have it in one car. Ha ha. And with the subscription of the G70 ($5/month, so $6.50 with all fees, and for Platinum), I get the app too, so that's why I use the app for the SF, so I don't have to pay for another subscription, when we hardly drive. And for the other vehicle, there was no great deal, so no way I'd have paid like $15/month extra. I might try to get it transferred back to the SF before the trip, without having to pay anything. We'll see, since I already got away with that once (from the SF to the G70). Ha ha. Take care.I’m a cheap bas…
