Well, 247 miles and I had to get my 2024 Santa Calligraphy towed in. I was in drive and sitting at a light. I pressed the gas pedal and it wouldn’t go anywhere. Just like it was in neutral. It finally slammed into gear and it felt like I got hit. I made it down the road to park and it was stuck in neutral with lights blinking sayijg shifter system malfunction! Service immediately. Called day and they are replacing transmission and TCU module. Waiting on time line and will review my case on what to do.
I had something similar in my hybrid calligraphy. Got a bunch of warning lights and then it wouldn’t accelerate. They said a wire came loose on the oil pump, so they plugged it back in. 5 days later, it happened again! Wonder if it’s actually the transmission. Dealership and Hyundai have not been helpful at all

Where do you find the number for the lemon law? I want to return my Santa Fe Limited as transmission failure along with other hybrid unit needs to be replaced as won't power the battery. I loved the look of the car and some of the technology but sounds like the software is a problem with the new Santa Fe as well.
Call the Hyundai customer care line. I found it on Google. They sound super helpful, but then mine was denied without further explanation. Trying again, hoping I don’t need to hire a lawyer. ‘24 hybrid calligraphy broke down twice in first month but they say it’s a wire that keeps coming loose. Only fix is to plug it back in and pray it doesn’t happen a third time.
