Alright I have a 2009 Santa Fe Limited. I have the infinity sound system with the sub, and i want to put an after market sub in. I wanna take out the infinity subwoofer but i wanna keep the infinity tweeters ect just not the sub. To put an aftermarket sub in would i need to get a new head unit? and can i still use the infinity speakers except the sub with a new after market sub? And is there any wiring routs in the car to the battery? Thanks!

You can just change out the sub but you won’t hear a huge difference. If you’re looking for true impact then you have to add an amplifier and a line converter as well and also run a power and ground to the amp from the front battery. If you’ve never done all that before then I suggest finding a shop that can or Facebook market place to find an installer to get it done right and safe.
