I'm getting the worn out stabilizer/sway bar bushing clunking noise ('04 santa fe 2.7). Ive got the new bushings, but I can't seem to be able to get to the bushing bracket bolts. The recommended way is back through the wheel well, but there isn’t enough room to get BEHIND the vertical mounts to access the bolt heads (why did they put the bolts in from the back to the front?). What's the best way to get at the 14mm bolts to change these bushings? From below? From below it seems I can get to the lower bolt, but not the top bolt above the bar. Do I have to remove something else first (hope not)? Do I need a special tool? Is there a trick to this? Can someone walk me through the steps to access the bushing bracket bolts? Please advise.
Thanks
