It is a 2004 Santa Fe, how old is the battery? If it is the original battery it is more than likely shot/worn out. After 5 or 6 years most batteries are near the end of their life cycle.

If fairly new you may have an open circuit in the system. When the key is off there is something still taking power from the battery. When the battery is fully charged, disconnect one of the cables, or both, over night. Reconnect in the morning ans see if it starts.

There may be a bad cell in the battery.
Best bet is to take your Santa Fe to a dealer or auto repair shop and have the battery and system checked out.

If you have not changed your vehicle battery since last 5 years so so should change the battery because its totally the issue of battery and if it is happening with new battery so you have to check the wiring otherwise bring the vehicle to car care center to fix the issue.

I am guessing that maybe you have fixed your problem by now, but just in case you haven't: It sounds like there is something in the vehicle that may be draining your battery, such as a light bulb located someplace where you cannot see it, like under the hood or in the glove box. I had a brand new car that did this & it was inside the trunk. The only way they found it was to shut one of the mechanics inside the trunk & the light stayed on because of a faulty switch. Hope this helped.
