If you do not mind me to say it, though, I would recommend you to put some tire polish on the tires that will give a better general look.

Yeah...after I titled the thread, I realized it's the Santa Fe Forums, not the Santa Fe Sports Forum; even though this is the 3rd-gen subforum, Hyundai does make a Santa Fe still, and who wants to exclude other passionate owners? Not me!! So yeah, post away, no matter what year you have!

And thanks for the compliments I didn't have tire shine that day on hand, but yesterday I applied some, and it does look better:

Unfortunately we don't get this beautiful RED colour in India. Your one looks stunning specially after your wax coat & the tyre polish. Enjoy it with pride!

I got my Santa Fe virtually laminated by 3M's PPT (Paint Protection Film) which is a 50 micron film now wrapped all over may vehicle except the roof. Attached is its photo while they were preparing to do it. Unfortunately I didm't click while they were doing it.

This film has UV protection in addition to the additional barrier that it virtually form into. With it on no need to wax etc. as a smile wash brings out the shine because all one is doing is washing the film whereas the paint is secured as original or in showroom condition.

Further if someone even deliberately tries to damage/scratch the paint with some sharp object, all he will be able to do is damage the outer surface of this PPT & which can be replaced within few minutes. The paint remains protected always.

I was told that the PPT is not typically recommended on White colour as it tends to fade after 5-6 years of use under direct sun & which starts giving it a pale yellow look thereby making the while look off-whitish. But on other colours no one can note the difference even after 5-6 years of use.

3M guarantee it for 5 years!

About a year ago I plasti dipped the grey trim in black , on my 2017 santa fe sport 2.0T limited awd, including the front grill and roof rack. Looks amazing and still standing, even through dozens of washes and winter. Images are of my old rims though, ill take new ones after this winter has passed.
