I am about to pick up a used 2007 Santa fe Limited tomorrow with 34K on it.
Literally a little old lady has owned it. I noticed oil on the alternator and had the owner take it to Hyundai to be checked out. They said that the work has previously been done under a recall but they didn't clean it well? I did smell oil burning during my test drive. I am supposed to pick it tomorrow and they have a shop order stated they checked it and all was well. I know the warranty will end as soon as I take ownership so I wanted to see what the group's experience has been with these valve covers.
It is the 3.3 V6 and otherwise in pristine condition with only 34K on it.
Anything else I should be looking at? I would like to put a tow hitch on it and get my Ipod to interface.
Any suggestions on either.
