At first I thought it was one of the various warning alarms. But it was loud and startling and came from inside the car. It’s happened twice in two weeks. My dealer has no clue what it might be.
I was just driving normally about 30 mph. I’ve only had this car about 3 weeks. The sound is the same as the one the horn makes, but it’s louder like it’s coming from inside the car. We drove around for an hour last night but couldn’t replicate it. I worry people will think I’m nuts, but I’m not!😆
I had the same thing happen for at least a year. I eventually traced it to my muffler rubbing against the hitch I installed. I glued a piece of rubber to the area and the squeak/beep was gone. Hope this helps someone.
Start with the trim you have, and also be more specific where the sound is coming from. You should be able to tell if it's from the rear, front, below, etc.
