2015 Santa Fe Sport 2.0t. Engine runs like the day it was purchased new. No codes or drivability issues. On a cold start or after engine sits for a few hours the fuel pressure drops. The engine takes 3-4 seconds to crank. If I cycle the ignition by turning on without foot on brake then cranking normal it does fine. I figure it is the high pressure fuel pump but would like to hear from any of you before spending 500.00. Thanks.

So what you are saying, is you push the "start" button with you foot off the brake, that eliminates the 3-4 sec crank? So then you step on the brake while you were holding the "start" button or push "start" a second time?

Yes I prime the fuel system by cycling the ignition switch to on but do not press brake pedal. I then press brake pedal and start button. Engine starts without a long crank time.
