Locate heater hoses

I can't locate the heater hoses on my '02 Santa Fe. I do all the maint. on this machine, I've replaced the timing belt, plugs and wires (that was a bit of a pain) and done all the regular maint. required by the shop manual. The only hoses I can see enter the firewall are about mid engine compartment and can only be seen from underneath the beast. These hoses? are only about 1/2" diameter. I didn't trace them to the engine end as I thought they were too small for heater hoses, and they have no clamps like I'd expect to see. Am I missing somethin'? Are these the heater hoses? I feel like a dummy askin' this, but if someone can clue me in.. Thanks!

If you are facing the vehicle they come out of the firewall on the passenger side and into your right side of the vehicle engine under the intake manifold close to the thermostat. You need to change these hoses with the manifold off.
