I have ahyundai santa fe 2003 model. This car gives a hissing noise in the engine when i start it and the noise increases the more i press down the pedal. I have not been able to trace it to the root cause. I guess it could be a bearing or so but cant tell. It's louder around the power steering pump but it is not the power steering pump as i bought a new one to replace but the noise persisits. Any help anyone?

Welcome! Without hearing the noise ourselves, it'd be hard to tell what it is. If you could take a video of your engine running, that would help.
