Downloading songs from Flash Drive

Just picked up my new 2.0T. I have 204 songs on a flash drive. According to the dealer I have to load them "one at a time" into the media player. Can that be right? My previous ride (KIA Sorento), I just inserted the drive and the songs loaded up automatically. There must be a way to do it on the Santa fe. Any ideas???

I found a tiny 16GB flashdrive that fits the USB in the console with the little cover closed. I just use that for music or what ever is on my phone. I prefer this over storing it in the Sf because I can take it out and manage my music more easily.

When you say 'load them into the media player' do you mean load them into the system so you can search, play, pause etc. songs from the flash drive . . . or do you mean 'copy' the contents of the flash drive to the internal storage in the vehicle (My Misic storage).

According to my manual the flash drive files will load automatically (i just verified this with a drive loaded with only 60 songs but it played 'immediately' when plugged in, time will depend on how many files apparently) so they can be played and managed in the USB Mode on the system . . BUT if you want to 'copy' songs from the usb flash drive to the My Music internal vehicle storage you need to press the 'Copy' button (see page 4/278 in 2015 manual) for a current file individually . . apparently.

Additionally, I couldn't find anything about how to load a complete library from an iPod/Phone into the internal storage either.

Anyone else know of there is a way to automatically upload a complete music library from a flash drive or iPod/Phone to the My Music storage?
