This is more of a fun / silly question... Does anyone know the difference between Twilight Black pearl (on the ICE Santa Fe models) and Abyss Black pearl (on the HEV and PHEV models)?

I am more curious if it is just a marketing thing with the names or is there really a tone / sparkle difference?

Actually the more I look the more I wonder... In Canada, The HEV and PHEV colour palette is totally different than that of the ICE Santa Fe's... in the USA the same colour palette is used for both ICE and PHEV... I am not sure why this is... maybe they want them exclusive since it is next to impossible to buy HEV/PHEV models up here in Canada

The color codes are the same (NNB) so I would assume they are the same color black.

Actually, it looks like for the exterior paint options, the color codes are different.

Twilight Black - S3B
Abyss Black - A2B

I've just used up all my expertise on paint, so I'm done.

LOL... I mean black is black...by why different blacks. Sounds like something Honda would do - a White... a different kind of white... A grey a Sivler grey... and maybe a couple black tones just to freshen things up.
