I have a 2020 Santa Fe that I bought used. A friend suggested I put a clear protective film (clear vinyl or 3M) on the headlights so they don't get yellowed, stone-chipped, etc.
Has anyone else done this?
Does it seem like a good idea?
(Side note - I would be paying someone around $200CAD for this service. I don't trust myself to do it properly)
Thanks for your thoughts!

I have applied protective clear vinyl on many things including both headlight areas on my 21 SF. Vinyl of various thicknesses are available on Amazon and eBay. YouTube installation videos will be very helpful. If you use the spray method, you can adjust the position as needed. The one thing I like to do is create a template with heavy paper so I have an excellent fit, avoiding the need to cut around the vinyl. The cost will be no more than $10-20.
