I had a check engine light come up on my 2011 Santa Fe about 6 months ago. I don't remember the number but it translated to software update needed. I took it to the dealership and they affirmed that. They did a software upgrade and the light came back on. I took it back and they said that sometimes it doesn't take and tried it again. The light came back on before I left the lot. I took it back and they supposedly did it again. Again the light came back on before I left the lot. I just took it back yesterday, now they say that the "intake runners siezed actuator rod bent". Could this be the case or are they incapable of installing a software update?
