Hello all. I have a 2012 Santa Fe Limited with a 3.5L V6. The water pump was starting to leak. The dealer wanted $980 to replace it so I decided to do it myself. It didn't sound hard: just remove all the bolts and take it out. I spent HOURS removing the 10 or 12 bolts that hold it on and I got it separated from the engine, but I can't get it out of the engine compartment! There just is not enough space in any direction to remove it. I'm considering removing the motor mount and/or an idler pulley but those are both pretty large tasks that I'm a little afraid to undertake. My only alternative is to pay someone to HAUL it to a shop and pay the $$$. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
