Hi all,
I'm thinking of buying a new 2015 or 2016 Santa Fe Sport AWD. I'm torn between the SFS and the Acura RDX. While the price difference is obvious, I want a reliable vehicle and am willing to pay more if needed. I've had an Acura in the past and it was a great vehicle. It is evident that the SFS and the Acura offer pretty much most, if not all of the same features in terms of gadgets and gizmos for safety, etc. I've read differing opinions on the reliability of the SFS and wondered if anyone would provide any feedback with how satisfied they have been with a similar Hyundai. Would you buy it again? Have you had any mechanical or electronic problems with it? Any regrets? Any feedback is very much appreciated! Thanks!

You may be aware that there was a major model change for the SFS in 2013 . . as such no-one has a long term perspective for the Generation 3. However, most people on the forum seem to be very satisfied with their 3rd Gen SFS. Apparently there is still a 10 year waranty in the USA!

I was considering the Acura MDX but went with the Santa Fe. It has plenty of power/torque, interior is very nice, lots of extras for the money, and down right nice looking vehicle. Acura is expensive and with the deal I got I saved 10-12 grand. I am 6'2 255 lbs and have plenty of room in the Santa FE.
