I read somewhere that some Hyundai key fobs will roll down the windows if a certain keyfob button combo is pressed….is there such a trick on the Santa Fe fob?

Any other keyfob tricks?

With some models of the Tucson you can roll windows down with the fob. That is a feature of the vehicle, though, not something that can be activated on the Santa Fe by changing the key fob.

you should be able to accomplish this by clicking your key fob’s unlock button three times.

or pressing and holding the unlock button.

try both and see what happens.

Update…didn’t do anything for my Santa Fe preferred with trend package

Yeah I tried as well and did not see any result.
Here are a few examples of fancy tricks that your key fob may be capable of UTV windshie:
  1. Remote start: Some key fobs have a remote start feature that allows you to start your car's engine from a distance, without having to physically be inside the car.
  2. Trunk release: Many key fobs have a button that can be used to open the trunk or rear hatch of your vehicle.
  3. Panic button: If you're in a dangerous situation, some key fobs have a panic button that can be pressed to sound the car's horn and flash its lights, drawing attention to your location.
  4. Power windows: Some key fobs have buttons that can be used to roll down or roll up the windows of your vehicle remotely.
  5. Memory seats: If your car has memory seats, your key fob may be able to store your seat and mirror positions, so that they automatically adjust to your preferences when you unlock the car.
  6. Car locator: Some key fobs have a car locator feature that can help you find your car in a crowded parking lot by sounding the car's horn and flashing its lights.

Found this but haven't tried it yet.
Neat. I might try this today.

yeah... does not work on my car...
Nothing happens with my SF plug-in either. My 2010 Mazda and 2015 Nissan windows open with the key fobs.
Just checked my US Calligraphy, and windows don't roll down, nor up. So not a feature in any market, it seems. Maybe the Korean one, since it has more features than anywhere else.

That was a feature that should be there. My Ford Fusion does that with the windows.
