FYI, I went to ebay and ordered two blanks for my wife's 2012 @ $6.50 delivered. My neighbor is a locksmith and cut both keys in about two minutes. They work perfectly in the ignition and do not need to worry about an embedded microchip.
How can you tell if the keys are chipped or not? I only received one key when the vehicle was purchased, and I'm looking to get one or two more.
I have a 2008 SF Limited.
Not sure what kind of key you need. We only got one key with our 2009 and it was just a plain old key. Went to Ave Hardware and got 2 more made for only $5.64 inc. sales tax.
