Basically, controls how quickly the vehicle attempts to reach the set temperature, by adjusting fan speeds. When one light is illuminated, may take longer to reach set temperature, when three lights are illuminated, it may take less time to reach set temperature.

The 3 lights are low, medium and high for auto fan speed. I generally use high for summer to cool the car down faster. I usually leave it on low in winter as I also have the heated seat and steering wheel to keep me warm.

Sounds like the seat heater.

That also has 3 amber LEDs, just like the auto button. As mentioned, they're basically for auto-low, auto-medium, and auto-high, meaning fan speed.
