I have a major issue with the engine hesitation on take-off. Especially when I am making a right turn from a stop. Cars are coming from the left, and if I give it enough gas I should be fine. But no matter how much throttle I put on it, the engine hesitates and sometimes I almost get hit in the back. Even if I press down more pedal, doesn't make a difference.

The hesitation can last 1/2 second to 2 seconds. Plenty of time to get smashed in the back. I normally keep it in ECO mode, but I have also had the same issue in SPORT mode.

I also made sure I don't have my other foot on the brake pedal. I tried that once, and the car didn't move at all. The engine didn't even start up.

Has any had these hesitation issues with their Hybrid model?
