Hurray, they finally got this 2019 group setup. Ref requests from here
https://www.santafeforums.com/can-we-add-2019-gen-4-group-p42503.html#post42503

I have owned my 2019 Santa Fe Limited AWD Limited for seven weeks now, just over 900 miles with plans to have it's first post-breakin oil change next week. No problems. Lots of remote starts in 0-20 deg F mornings the past month. I am retired so rarely go anywhere before 9am but have the MyHyundai based feature for reliable starts through buildings to parking ramps is nice, although remembering to lock the car to start in garage is a new habit.

Mileage so far in the 22-25 range and car readout close to real miles/gal measured from the ODO & pump. Have only taken one 70 mi trip, so that is all in town or 2 mile rural drive to home on curvy road in the woods. Yes, I know short warm ups are not needed for the car and have a slight mpg impact, but I like them although the car warms up fast driving and the seats are really hot (I usually kick them from 3 lights to 1 in a couple miles).

Thanks for getting this set up! I look forward to exchanging information with various members.
Bought our 2019 Santa Fe Ultimate in late August. First Hyundai but I like the features in the vehicle and I like the car overall. I have had a couple of instances where it started a bit hard (kept in the garage) so we'll see how that goes. Took it in for that and no codes so hope it was just a fluke. A couple of things I'm interested in is:

defaulting the Auto Stop/Start feature to disable upon each start up

how to create groups of addresses in the address book of the navigation

Anyway, this will help get the posts for the 2019+ in the correct area of the forum. Thanks

Others on different Hyundai Santa Fe forums have commented on this so if it's not a part of this group I suggest you google this for info. I'm glad I have the Limited with LED lights that are very good, there are ways to upgrade others.

Was wondering if others are experiencing this problem too. I have a 2019 Limited with a 2.0T engine and my battery keeps draining below the 70% range to operate the start/stop feature. It’s still under warranty but have taken it to 2 different dealers and both are scratching their heads on it. Was thinking something is not charging the battery fully. I did buy one of those voltage meter’s you can plug into a lighter and its reading 14.1v when its running down the road. Wondered if anyone knows of whats happening on this.

Depends a lot on how long you drive every time you use the vehicle, and how long it sits between uses. What is brutal on batteries is short trips, since there are not enough miles to recharge it, so you keep depleting it. And ISG only makes that worse (while it works), so I always have it off. What helps a lot, especially if you drive in regular mode, which pretty much keeps the engine almost running at idle, is to downshift with the paddles when coasting to a stop light, stop sign, etc. Nothing radical, but getting the rpm to about 3K recharges the battery a lot more (without wasting any gas) than if the engine is running near idle while coasting. I always drive in sport mode, which downshifts to around 2,500 rpm, but I regularly use the paddles to do it near 3K. The other problem is the first 2 days off, there's significant parasitic losses on the battery, until the vehicle goes to 'sleep'. So if you don't use the vehicle often, or drive mostly short trips, it pays to always keep it charged with a smart charger, which is what I do with all my vehicles. Hope this helps.
