Under the hood on the 2015 SFS 2.4L . . where's the auto trans fluid dipstick located . . or have they done away with it? Can't find it in the manual or visual look under the hood.

The Genesis had a sealed transmission. So it might be the same train of thought.

I could never get an answer about changi g the tranny fluid from Hyundai on the Gennie

Vehicles without a transmission fluid dipstick, I haven't heard of that before. So how exactly do they know what the fluid level is if there isn't one?

I believe these transmissions are built by the Company ZF they make alot of trannys for alot of vehicle manufacturers now. This transmission and the 6 speed in the 3.3 seem to be no dip stick. Meaning it is filled from under the vehicle. The trans filter is built into the trans pan, so when trans gets serviced the pan gets thrown away and a new pan is installed. The trans pan is not on most models made of stamped steel. it is made of a durable nylon plastic type..

Also these transmissions take special fluids. also made by ZF.. there website states if you do not want to use our oil than we can sell you a new trans and or parts.
