I have disconnected the battery on mine for charging and no code required on reconnection.
2015 DM Santa Fe Radio code?
Hi, I have just purchased a 2015 5 seat Santa Fe and need to fit a wiring harness for caravan. Not sure if radio needs a code if battery disconnected, local dealer said it does, Hyundai UK said all 2015 DM's do not have a code for radio. Any 2015 owners out there who have disconnected the battery and needed/not needed code for radio? Nothing came with car to suggest code is needed.

Cheers thanks for your help, in the end there were only two connections, one plug and one connection to break into wiring reversing lights, took a chance and did not disconnect the battery and all was well, except when the garage sorted a leak in the rear diff, they forgot to fill it will fluid, therefore noisy diff, returned the car and got my money back, now have a 2015 5 seat Santa Fe tow bar wiring harness I don't need!I have disconnected the battery on mine for charging and no code required on reconnection.
