Has anyone experienced their SFS not turning on? Over the past 3 weeks, there has been two separate instances where my car would not turn on. It was as if the car had no power whatsoever. I know my battery is not an issue as I had my car at the dealership twice in the past month (once for a state inspection, and once for the first time this problem occurred) and they said everything is in good condition. How do I know if I got a lemon from Hyundai?

Hey Psyke724, have you checked the Lemon Law for your state (you might want to update your profile with your location so members can be more helpful). In any event, from what I've heard about lemon laws on other car forums, I think you're a looooong way from lemon territory. Sounds like an intermitent issue that might be a little difficult for your dealer to diagnose, but it's likely a simple fix for them. Let us know what the dealer has to say after they've had a chance to look at it.

Dealership fail!

Turns out one of the connections to the battery was not fully secured... The 3rd party tow truck driver pointed it out to me last month when my car wouldn't turn on at all. The dealership I've been taking my car to for service completely overlooked this small detail even though they told me they checked from beginning to end all items they could think of. Ever since the connection was tightened I haven't had the issue... Dealership fail! Sigh... My perception of and satisfaction with the Hyundai brand is reached a new low...
