I'm new to the forum thanks for letting me join.
I'm trying to help a friend who has a 2003 Santa Fe with the 2.4 engine.
The wire harness plug going to the cam position sensor was found deteriorated. It was brittle and had totally fallen apart and all the wires hanging out of the position sensor.
We bought a new harness from Advance Auto ($70). The wires on the new plug are all white, not color coded at all
Can someone explain or send a picture of the color coding from top to bottom of the sensor? I'm guessing the Red wire is on top and the Black goes to bottom with the Pulse wire being the center one but I want to make sure before I wire this up and creating more issues.
