Guys,
I have a 2002 Santa Fe that the engine will not stop when you turn off the key. my mechanic said it was the ecm. i need to know 2 things, first the ecm in my santa fee is 39109-37506, can i put one in it that has 39109-37507? next if i get the exact same one do i have to program it in any way? thanks in advance for the help

Hi, the ECM is probably expensive. I would suggest trying a few smaller things first. Once you remove key, and engine is still running, if you press the gas will it stall? if so, I;'d check the purge solenoid. it may be stuck open.

May not be a bad idea to check the ignition relay under the hood as well. We have a 2002 Santa Fe.
